The Association of Foot & Ankle Physiotherapists & AHPs (AFAP) is an educational charity providing educational opportunities for Physiotherapists & other Allied Health Professionals (AHPs) with a special interest in Foot & Ankle musculoskeletal problems to learn, connect & share information, thereby improving patient care.
History
The Association of Foot & Ankle Physiotherapists (AFAP) was launched in October 2012 by four like minded Physiotherapists who had the good fortune to meet at a Foot & Ankle conference earlier that year.

AFAP gained official achieved charitable status in February 2014 - Registered Charity Number 1155774. We are self funded through educational courses & events and donations.

AFAP membership is free to all MSK Physiotherapists, MSK Podiatrists, Nurse Specialists or any other Allied Health Professionals interested in either sharing their knowledge or improving their skills within MSK foot & ankle problems.
We want to facilitate collaborative working as this is in the best interests of our patients and also improves our learning opportunities.
When emailing us to join, please also include a personal and work email, your job title & full address of your current workplace.
If you are registered with the UK HCPC please also include your registration number.
For Physios - if you are a CSP member please also include your membership number.
